To add to Rohit's point, DaVinci Resolve will continue to read non-official MP4 files from your recorder, camera or application. The official MPEG spec matters only when rendering to an MP4 container from DaVinci Resolve. I may not be wording exactly right but Blackmagic greyed out the iso because it is treated so differently between camera companies and it’s difficult to get them all in line with one control system.
